The Waimate Focus

From the Presidents notebook

Kia Ora from  Wellington!

I hope you are all well down there, and the weather is treating you nicely. This week I have managed to experience all sides of the Wellington weather all the while working very hard, of course.

I have managed to capture some wildlife, crime scenes, been out to photograph Wellington on the police launch, (the Queen Elizabeth IV) photographed the national police dog champion, eaten pikelets and Eggs Benedict and prepared for the next two days. I promise you that it’s not all cooked meals and laughs up here, the next two days will be full of assessments and I promise you that the photos are a lot more professional than what the common iPhone can take!

Next week I will be back and ready to Take over the reins from Peter, who has no doubt been doing an exceptional job standing in for me while I am working very hard up here.

Here is a sneak peak of one of the photos I will show you next week…

Since there has not been much uptake on the quiz challenge, I thought I would change tact and move it to the big column. Remember that the first correct answer to the secretary wins a prize…
