I have had a lot of feedback on what a great night our last week’s meeting was. Thank you so much Martyn for giving such an interesting address to the team. Testament to the fact that we don’t have to venture far to get interesting speakers.

 

It has been a busy weekend too with thanks to Dave Chamberlain and Chris Paul braving the weather and supporting the Pine Cone Drive. Well led and organised by Amelia it was a huge success. Amelia is doing the count up but the word on the street is potentially in the order of 80 bags of pine cones harvested. These will go a long way to improving the coffers of the students activities and is a further example of how many hands can make light work.

               

This week we have Nigel Davenport of Aoraki Development coming to talk with us. Nigel as CEO of that organisation will have much interesting information to talk to relating to the wider district. He is very keen to come and talk with us and is looking forward to getting here.

 

Club Subs are due. Yay! A very big thank you to all of you who have paid your subs direct into the bank for us. By paying direct into it takes away a lot of work to get individual reminder notes out to folks so cutting out the middle man / women does help us. Those of you yet to pay can you please put it on your fridge to-do-list … J
