From The President’s Keyboard
First of all, thank you to Bridget and Debbie for checking our Blood Pressure and Diabetes last Thursday. They indicated I have a few more years left in me yet hopefully!
Last Friday was the High School Relay for Life Challenge, I walked in the survivor's group ably Piped around the track by Dougal McLaughlan. It was a mild night and the event well organized with plenty of banter and good cheer.
I have been told that $20,000 was raised by the school group for the Cancer Society. That is a really great effort for everyone involved. Congratulations.
This week is Club Night being chaired by Vice President Peter Bell. Hopefully reports have been sent to Dylan.
The week following hopefully Rob Kirk will address the club and on the 23rd we will have the chance to visit Quin’s Arcade with Rick from “The Waimate” with a meet up at “The Waimate” for a beer and meal after that.
