With the dark morning and cooler weather, getting started in the morning is more of a challenge. Still no significant rain.
Rob Kirk gave us some interesting insights into the development of Kirk Irrigation starting as a one-man enterprise to employing 18-19 people in 25years is a great story. I know as a client it is great to have such a skilled company in our local town and when they come on the farm there is always a lot of friendly banter.
This week we will meet at the Arcade with Rick and hear of the progress made there. After that we will adjourn to the “Waimate” for drinks and food
Please note Start time at “The Arcade “ is 5.30pm
I hope all the incoming directors and other Club Members that are interested have registered for Leadership Impact (Rotary Know How) session on Saturday 26th May via zoom. Details available on Valda Corde’s email that you would have received every Friday. You can pick which session you are interested in for the Saturday. You do not have to stay glued to the computer all day.
How about registering and picking a session or two! There is a lot of work done at District level to present this and it is an easy way of upskilling.
