Marlene who lives with two men, two dogs and a cat gave us a very entertaining introduction of her life, family and career.  Welcome to Rotary Marlene.
 
CLUB NOTICES
  • Fonterra have kindly offered a heap of cut down trees, as rounds, to our club to cut up for firewood and sell as a fundraiser. Mark Shefford will be in touch with details of some days to do working bees in the next 2 weeks.
  • Fonterra have also offered to work with our High School Honorary Members to do a pine cone drive fundraiser - to liaise with President Alan
  • Reminder meal apologies or registration of guests need to be to the Rotary phone 027 689 6006 by midday Wednesday
  • We need your help Waimate Club members - We are looking for you to become a home host for District Conference weekend March 19-21.  Meet fellow Rotarians and make new friends.  Introduce them to our wonderful community and help DG Dylan to run an amazing weekend.   • President Alan announced to the club a new environmental project for everyone to be involved in. It's to extend the planting along the Willowbridge Creek.  More info to come.

School holiday time means we have some fabulous helpers with Meals on Wheels deliveries. Rotarians Pauline and Colins grandchildren were down visiting from Wellington and wanted to help out, so big thanks to Meredith and Griffin who did a wonderful job 👌🏼😃 You’re never too young for service above self!
